The children of the King David Jewish school and the Wonderworld kindergarten in Larnaca have
gathered at the Great Synagogue of Cyprus to meet the Chief Rabbi of Cyprus, Arie Zeev Raskin.
The Chief Rabbi spoke to the children and encouraged them to excel in their studies and good
conduct.
“The Jewish tradition has always relied on the younger generation to lead the way and continue the
legacy of our forefathers. Today we see how the chain continues as the older primary schoolers
stand with the younger kindergarteners, all determined to make their parents and community proud
and be a source of light and inspiration to others.”
The King David private school is based in Larnaca and has been consistently growing in the past years
due to the fantastic growth of the Jewish community of Cyprus.
